A little more about me…

I originally trained as a dancer at The Arts Educational School in Tring and worked professionally as a dancer for a few years. Shortly after, I taught dance at various dance schools across London. My love of working with the body inspired me to do a teacher training in pilates and I then went on to study becoming a yoga teacher in 2002.

My therapeutic approach is multifaceted, encompassing traditional talking therapy as well as creative interventions involving the arts. I firmly believe in the power of creativity to unlock emotions and facilitate expression in a safe and nurturing environment. By fostering trust and understanding within the therapeutic relationship, I support my clients to develop confidence, resilience, and self-awareness.

In addition to my counselling expertise, I am a qualified teen yoga & pilates instructor, passionate about helping young individuals reconnect with their bodies. Yoga serves as a profound tool for releasing tension, managing anxiety, and addressing trauma held within the body. When appropriate, I integrate yoga techniques and mindfulness practices into counselling sessions, providing a holistic approach to healing.

Furthermore, I offer private and small group yoga & pilates sessions tailored to the unique needs of my clients and/or parents.
